Scope and acceptance
This Legal Notice applies to the Agent Pair website, any hosted or software-as-a-service offering (the “Hosted Service”), and the Agent Pair open-source software, source code, packages, documentation, and related materials (the “Open-Source Software”). Together, these are the “Services.”
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this Legal Notice. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You remain responsible for every use and result
Agent Pair coordinates software-development agents; it does not replace your judgment, review, testing, security controls, or authorization process. You are solely responsible for how you configure and use the Services and for all instructions, code, content, credentials, repositories, systems, data, approvals, deployments, and other resources you make available through them.
You must independently review and validate agent actions and outputs before relying on, merging, publishing, deploying, or otherwise using them. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups, access controls, human approvals, security testing, license review, and recovery procedures.
You are also responsible for ensuring that your use and any resulting software or action complies with applicable laws, regulations, contracts, third-party terms, intellectual-property rights, privacy obligations, employment obligations, and your organization’s policies. You must not use the Services to access or change systems, repositories, accounts, or data without authorization.
Third-party tools and services
The Services may interoperate with third-party products, models, agents, platforms, accounts, APIs, repositories, and infrastructure. Those services are provided and controlled by their respective owners under their own terms and policies. Agent Pair does not control and is not responsible for their availability, security, behavior, outputs, changes, data handling, fees, or legal compliance.
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any third-party account, license, permission, or consent required for your use. Compatibility references do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or continued compatibility.
Open-source deployments
The Open-Source Software is provided under the license included in its repository. That license governs copying, modification, and distribution of the Open-Source Software and includes its own warranty and liability provisions. If this Legal Notice conflicts with that license regarding the Open-Source Software, the license controls to the extent of the conflict.
If you self-host, modify, redistribute, integrate, or operate the Open-Source Software, you—not Agent Pair’s operators or contributors—are responsible for your deployment, infrastructure, configuration, security, maintenance, support, data processing, regulatory compliance, and the services you provide to your users. Use of the Hosted Service may be subject to additional terms presented when you subscribe or create an account.
No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, security, error-free operation, and that defects or vulnerabilities will be corrected.
Agent outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, insecure, harmful, non-compliant, or subject to third-party rights. No information or output obtained through the Services constitutes legal, security, financial, tax, medical, or other professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Agent Pair’s operators, maintainers, contributors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, data, code, credentials, or use, arising from or related to the Services—even if advised that such damage may occur.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, their aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly for the Hosted Service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$100. Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Agent Pair’s operators, maintainers, and contributors from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your use of the Services, your content or systems, your violation of law or third-party rights, or a product or service you build, operate, or distribute using the Services.
